  #by Deborah Yakubu Bwala Union of European football association (UEFA) could make three major changes to Champions League format after 'complaint' from Arsenal. UEFA are reportedly looking into making three huge alterations to the Champions League, with Arsenal unhappy with one element of the format. UEFA are deliberating making three substantial changes to the Champions League format despite only recent changing up the competition in a huge way. For the first time in the history of the competition, the Champions League moved to a 36-team league table where teams played a total of eight fixtures which was determined by UEFA's software. The top eight teams secured automatic qualification to the round of 16, with those ranked ninth all the way down to 24th having play a two-legged knockout play-off. Real Madrid's Camavinga Sustains Groin Injury.

The French international picked up the injury during Real Madrid’s 1-0 win over Getafe in La Liga on Wednesday. “Following tests carried out today on our player Eduardo Camavinga by the Real Madrid medical services, he has been diagnosed with a complete rupture of the left adductor tendon,” said Madrid in a statement. According to Spanish media, Camavinga is expected to miss Saturday’s Copa del Rey final against rivals Barcelona, along with Madrid’s final five league matches as they attempt to close the gap on the Catalan leaders. Reports also suggest Camavinga might miss the Club World Cup in the United States this summer, with estimates putting his recovery time at around three months.
